Island Liaison provides access to healthcare through the local community healthcare centers where Pacific Islanders and others can obtain affordable primary care and other assistance as needed. Island Liaison assists with focus on the independent island nations of the Freely Associated States (FAS) of Micronesia: The Republic of the Marshall Islands (RMI), the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM), and the Republic of Palau. FAS islanders are not US Citizens and therefore are not eligible for many federal or state services, including essential healthcare services.
